The units were designed to provide a modern look and high quality living space without compromising on comfort. Splitting the block down the middle and creating two narrow lots was the most effective design solution. After subdivision, the new lots created were 11m x 40m with an 8m rear boundary.
Emphasis was placed on creating a liveable family home for both the units with a balance of open and airy spaces alongside private and secure areas. Communal living spaces were positioned on the bottom floor whilst all bedrooms were located on the upper floor separating the two areas.
The upper floor was strategically designed to incorporate an activity area with a kitchen fit out making the house a liveable space for extended family or live in guests. This also accommodates parents and children, providing them with separate living zones so that all family members have their own private spaces.
Our extensive knowledge enabled us to maximise the potential of the block and create a functional design that takes full advantage the land’s natural features.
