CLOVERDALE APARTMENTS
Apartment design goes beyond a requirement for stylish and fashionable finishes and fixtures. The space must work as hard as it can to offer the best amenity and efficiency to lay a strong foundation to build upon.
The core criteria for good apartment design is well considered internal planning and providing all the functionality and liveability of a house, within a smaller space. It is crucial that every nook and square meter of floor space be utilised, but without cramming.
The client brief was an affordable, modern set of six apartments with low maintenance and high security on a 728sqm site.
The design solution was to split the apartments into two double story blocks (3 in each) that would allow ample space for parking and visitor bays.
This layout allows the northern sun to penetrate through the alfrescos and balconies and into the apartments. It was important to ensure that each owner felt safe in the comfort of their apartment that provided privacy for them and their families.
Each apartment comes with thoughtful features that work together to ensure they are integrated harmoniously into the overall project.
